Jan 23: Leadership, Education and Athletics in Partnership, Inc. ($1000) The 28th annual LEAP Year Event is an evening of stimulating conversations, community connection, and rich learning and culture through dinner parties in homes throughout the Greater New Haven area and virtually via Zoom, (with additional dinners taking place on Feb 18 and 25th). A notable Guest of Honor joins each dinner party, providing a special topic of conversation for each gathering.

Feb 16: International Festival of Arts & Ideas ($2500) The 13th-annual Visionary Leadership Award will celebrate food justice advocate, Leah Penniman, at an event featuring Penniman in conversation with CT Public's Lucy Nalpathanchil. This event will take place in person at The Lab at ConnCORP, beginning at 5:30 p.m., and welcoming an audience of 400 philanthropic and community leaders. It will be recorded for possible rebroadcast and/or sharing for accessibility to people who are not able to attend in-person at the time of the event.
Feb 21: New Haven Free Public Library Foundation ($1000) Annual Mardi Gras 2023 (in-person). A celebration of the New Haven Free Public Library, to bring together the library’s citywide community of patrons, supporters and staff takes place at Ives Main Library at 133 Elm Street, New Haven from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Feb 24: Yale University ($300) The Yale Philanthropy Conference is an annual student-led conference that convenes philanthropic and nonprofit leaders who seek to tackle the social sector’s most pressing challenges. The Conference will take place in-person at Yale University on Friday with the theme of Advancing Justice.
Feb 24: CMWP Foundation, Inc. ($500) CMWP Foundation is hosting a Black Entrepreneur Empowerment Lunch on Friday, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Anchor Spa in New Haven. This is an in-person event, hosted at a Black-owned restaurant during Black History Month. We will also have a prominent Black guest speaker from the local community.
Feb 25: West Haven Black Coalition, Inc. ($1,050) The West Haven Black Coalition's 35th Annual Scholarship and Community Awards dinner (and 37th year, due to missing 2 years to Covid) and its largest fundraiser; beginning at 4:00 p.m. for meet-and-greet at Anthony's Ocean View in New Haven, CT.

Mar 02: Fellowship Place Inc. ($1000) Fellowship Place is hosting our 2023 fundraiser at the Union League Café in New Haven, CT from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The in-person event will include a wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres, and live auction with auctioneer. We hope you will want to lend your support to this occasion, when we will celebrate over 63 years of serving the needs of adults in our community who struggle with serious mental health problems and secondary problems such as social isolation, poverty, unemployment, and homelessness.
Mar 08: Connecticut Women's Consortium: ($500) This special virtual event for International Women’s Day, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. will be a celebration of triumph, overcoming adversity, and healing. It will feature inspiring speakers, including Elizabeth Smart, Joyclyn Bell, and Marlee Liss, as well as engagement in meaningful discussions.
Mar 17: Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen Inc. ($1,000) Breaking Bread Dinner. Each year the Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen (DESK) works with Yale Hospitality to host a formal dinner, as a fundraiser to support the mission and work of DESK., at Yale's Berkeley College from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. DESK’s mission is to serve people experiencing homelessness or living in poverty by providing food assistance and services that promote health, community, and equity.
Mar 18: West Haven Community House ($500) A Night at the Races, an entertaining evening of video horseracing, raffles and prizes to be held at the University of New Haven on Saturday 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. A Night at the Races is a premiere fundraising event for us at WHCH and the entire West Haven community.
Mar 23: Women and Family Life Center ($500) The 2nd EmpowHER gala in-person event Thursday, 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Woodwinds, Branford. Expected attendance of 225 for an evening of inspiration, music, silent and live auction, raising Center awareness and operating funds.
Mar 24: Ronald McDonald House Charities of CT and Western MA: ($500) Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut’s Dancing Under the Stars is one of our most exciting annual fundraisers! Following all CDC, state and local safety guidelines, the 12th Annual showcase will be held at Anthony’s Ocean View in New Haven, with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. . This event is instrumental in securing the necessary funds to support Ronald McDonald House families during their stay. Dancing Under the Stars is a dazzling and enjoyable event from the first dance to the judges’ final decisions and awards. The event features a seated dinner and a cast of local celebrities who are paired with professional ballroom dancers from the Greater New Haven area in a competition unlike any other.
Mar 29: CitySeed Inc. ($1000) The Food Business Accelerator (FBA) is a partnership between CitySeed and Collab which helps early-stage food entrepreneurs turn their emerging food businesses into thriving ones. Through a 12-week intensive business program, the Food Business Accelerator aims to remove barriers to food entrepreneurship across the state of Connecticut through training, network-building, and access to resources.
With the generous support of the Greater New Haven Community Foundation, we plan to host two events that serve as a culmination of the 2023 FBA curriculum: a Graduation Celebration in March 2023 and an FBA Showcase in summer 2023.
The Graduation Celebration serves as a time for the graduating ventures, Collab staff, CitySeed staff, and key partners to attend to celebrate the ventures’ success. We also invite local community leaders who can serve as advisors and mentors to FBA graduating ventures as they continue on their journey. .
Next, graduating FBA entrepreneurs have the opportunity to participate in the FBA Showcase — a large, outdoor, celebration of the culinary arts where the entrepreneurs can test products, gain customers, and build community together. In preparation for the event, ventures design menus, create promotional materials, and develop products for the big day
— all funded and supported by the CitySeed/Collab team. During the event, each entrepreneur gets their own tent to showcase their products, talk to customers and build their brand, and receive real time feedback. We plan to host this year's FBA Showcase at the Q House Farmers Market in Dixwell.
Mar 30: The Greater New Haven Cat Project ($700) The Greater New Haven Cat Project, Inc. is collaborating with The Branford Compassion Club, Inc. to host a pasta dinner from 5:30 pm to 8:30 p.m. at the Foxon Fire House Hall in East Haven, CT. This is an in-person event where the proceeds and expenses will be split 50:50 between the two organizations.

Apr 01: Connecticut Children's Museum Inc. ($250) Every year, the Connecticut Children’s Museum - in partnership with other early childhood programs and community-based organizations - hosts a citywide “Little Read" event as a part of the National Association for the Education of Young Children's Week of the Young Child celebration. The Kick-Off Festival for this year's Week of the Young Child will take place in-person on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at East Rock Park in New Haven, and is free and open to the public.
April 01: Higher Heights Youth Empowerment Programs, Inc. ($1000) 20th Anniversary in-person Celebration - Young Legends Ball to honor our graduating seniors and celebrate the success of our organizations over the past 20 years.
We have a weekend of events scheduled for alumni and guests to celebrate our organization, congratulate a group of outstanding students, and help HHYEP fund its mission moving forward.

Apr 04: Junior Achievement of Southwest New England ($1000) JA's Hall of Fame recognizes business and community leaders who have made significant contributions to the prosperity and the strength of our communities. This year's event will be at the Hartford Marriott and will also be live streamed. JA's Hall of Fame will begin at 5:30 p.m. with networking and cocktails, followed by dinner and awards program.
Apr 13: Connecticut Voices for Children ($250) Our 2023 First for Kids award ceremony. This year we will celebrate honorees doing important work to improve family economic security and close the racial income and wealth gap. This in-person event will be held at the Pond House Café in Hartford from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Apr 15: Squash Haven ($500) The 14th Annual Squash Haven Showdown Reception will be held on Saturday. The highlights of the reception include a speech from a Squash Haven team member, each senior sharing where they are going to college, a silent auction, and an awards component honoring fundraising efforts and other key contributions.
Apr 16: Historic Wooster Square Association ($500) The 50th Anniversary Cherry Blossom Celebration will be a community celebration to honor the important historical significance the trees have as a part of the New Haven community. We anticipate over 1,000 people for this in-person event in Wooster Square Park. The event takes place 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will feature free live-music, food trucks, and an Engagement Zone where attendees can learn more about arts and culture nonprofits in greater New Haven.
Apr 16: Winning Ways Inc. ($500) Winning Ways will be hosting a Brunch and Paint Fundraiser to raise awareness and support the mission of Winning Ways. This will take place at Jazzys Cabaret - 9th Square, New Haven, CT from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Apr 20: Boys & Girls Club of Milford ($500) Our 10th Annual Gala in support of the Boys & Girls Club of Milford. This in person event is scheduled for Thursday at the Knowlton in Bridgeport, CT at 5:00 p.m.
Apr 22: University of New Haven ($1000) The University of New Haven will be hosting a Sankofa Ball during its annual Black and Latino Alumni Weekend (BLAW) at the Beckerman Recreation Center.
Apr 26: New Haven Reads ($1000) New Haven Reads will be celebrating the organization's 20th anniversary with an in-person event for over 200 attendees at Bear's Smokehouse Barbecue in New Haven on Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Attendees will enjoy dinner, drinks, and live music as we mark the achievements of the organization and honor some of the heroes and champions who have made it possible.
Apr 27: APNH: A Place to Nourish Your Health ($1,000) Dining Out For Life®, an annual dining event raising money for community-based organizations serving people living with or impacted by HIV. The event will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. throughout the greater New Haven area. Your partnership will ensure the success of this event, furthering the mission of APNH to enable disadvantaged/disenfranchised individuals to achieve a sense of belonging, eliminate barriers that may lead to isolation, and provide the support needed to persevere and thrive.
Apr 27: Central Connecticut Coast YMCA ($500) Gather with the CCC YMCA as we kick off our 2023 Community Campaign and Honor our Volunteers of the Year! Help us get to a steep goal while enjoying each others company and celebrating our 2022 accomplishments at the Canal Dock Boathouse.
Apr 29: Edith B. Jackson Child Care Program, Inc. ($1000) The Edith B. Jackson (EBJ) Child Care Program, Inc. will celebrate its 50th year of providing high quality
care and early education by hosting a gathering of current and former EBJ community members including alumni, families, teachers, and Board members and will specifically honor one of our founders and board members, Dr. Deborah Ferholt, MD. Our in-person event will occur from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Hosley Gymnasium, The Foote School, 50 Loomis Pl, New Haven, CT.
Apr 29: James Blackstone Memorial Library ($500) The Blackstone Library is once again transforming into an 18-hole mini golf course starting on April 29 - 30th. With “Mini Golf at Blackstone Library" during the day, families can come and play in person at an affordable rate. On Saturday night, adults can have some fun at "Mini Golf: After Hours," which includes a wine and spirits tasting, snacks, prize drawings and a silent auction.

May 03: Artspace, Inc. ($1000) The Artspace Love Notes fundraiser, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., connects donated works made by artists living in greater New Haven. Love Notes is an opportunity for community members to acquire a five inch by eight inch work of art: a donated sample of an artist’s larger scale practice. Purchasing original artwork can be a new and prohibitive experience, and Artspace strives to bridge the gap between artists and potential contributors who may wish to own a piece of New Haven’s vibrant aesthetic scene but cannot afford expensive works of art. Artspace is not limited to the visual arts community and will host the New Haven jazz group, NHV Jazz Underground, for a live performance.
May 12: Westville Village Renaissance Alliance: ($500) This year will be the 26th Annual Westville Artwalk, and we feel confident that we can produce a safe, in-person event. This will include a vendor market, live music, a fashion show, a beer garden, the annual rubber duckie race and dog parade, children's activities and more.
May 15: Connecticut Players Foundation, Inc. d/b/a Long Wharf Theatre ($2500) A Concert for Long Wharf Theatre will take place on Monday, from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at John Lyman Center for the Performing Arts at Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU), 501 Crescent Street, New Haven. The event features a festive pre-show cocktail hour; a concert performance by Tony, Grammy, and Emmy-Award winning vocalist Audra McDonald; and an after party of drinks, dessert, and dancing.
May 18: The Eli Whitney Museum & Workshop ($1000) The Eli Whitney Museum & Workshop will host our annual fundraising benefit, The Leonardo Challenge, to support k-12 museum programs. This year, Leonardo takes Flight, and challenges local artists to donate works related to flight - of a plane, bird, or the feeling of flight. Guests will bid on artworks at our site (915 Whitney Avenue, Hamden, CT) while enjoying food, drink, and live music, or virtually via our online bidding platform.
May 18: The Greater New Haven Branch of the NAACP ($1500) The 106th annual Freedom Fund Dinner will be held at the Omni Hotel New Haven at Yale.
May 20: Massaro Community Farm ($500) Celebrate Spring is our annual seasonal opening event on the farm, featuring a local artist showcase of Fairy Houses, a maker's market, music, food trucks, garden workshops and seedlings grown on the farm available for purchase. This is a free community event open to all.
May 20: MakeHaven ($500) The Better World Hackathon is aimed at creating innovative solutions to improve our climate, our lives, and our transportation systems. This is a unique opportunity for tech enthusiasts, makers, and problem solvers to come together and put their skills to the test using cutting-edge technologies. May 21: Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven ($500) Will host "Touch a Truck" at our JCC campus from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. this program is designed for community engagement as a day of fun.

Jun 01: Latinas & Powers Inc. ($500) The 20th Anniversary of Latinas & Power Symposium will take place at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Hartford, CT. The program will be held in-person and through a live stream format. The event will offer 2 keynote speakers and a number of networking opportunities in order to inspire, motivate, encourage, and enable Latinas to succeed.
Jun 02: E.C. Scranton Memorial Library ($250) Stop by the beautiful Scranton Library on Friday, from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. pm for a magical evening of shopping, music, a silent auction, wine tasting and nibbles. Admission is free, so grab a friend or two and drop by the library for an evening of fun!
Jun 03: Chatham Square Neighborhood Association ($800) Quinnipiac Riverfest is an annual, one-day celebration of the Quinnipiac River and the historic Fair Haven waterfront. This in-person event is free and open to the public with live music, canoeing, beer tasting for adults, food sampling and sales, and art and artisan exhibits and sales.
Jun 03: Neighborhood Housing Services of New Haven ($1,000) This is an in-person, one-day community event held on our office campus in New Haven, to celebrate diversity and inclusivity in the New Haven community. After taking a 5-year break from executing this event, we are ecstatic to bring the community back together and this year, the celebration will surround the theme, Taste the World.
Jun 04: United Way of Greater New Haven ($750) Participation in the Freddy Fixer Parade at the United Way of Greater New Haven.
Jun 06: Hamden Transition Academy at SCSU ($2500) Annual Graduation Ceremony for the Hamden Transition Academy. It will be an in-person format from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the grand ballroom of the Michael J. Adanti Center at Southern CT State University.
Jun 07: New Haven Legal Assistance Association, Inc. ($1,000) Each spring, New Haven Legal Assistance holds its annual Equal Access to Justice reception. It is an opportunity to recognize individuals and organizations in the Greater New Haven area who embody the ideal of providing access to justice to individuals and families in our community. This year, we are honoring IRIS, The Herbert and Nell Singer Foundation, and Justice Lubbie Harper. The event will take place at the Hotel Marcel from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Jun 08: Clifford W. Beers Guidance Clinic ($2500) The Builders of Hope Breakfast has been convening members of the community for over 18 years in support of mental and behavioral health care. This year's event will take place in person at Woodwinds in Branford at 7:30 a.m.
Jun 08: United Way of Greater New Haven ($1500) The LIVE UNITED Celebration is an annual awards & recognition celebration to celebrate the success and impact all of our campaign volunteers have had on our community. A moment to recognize and thank our region's leaders and professional partners that provide their time, talent, and treasure throughout the year. We expect an estimated 150-200 of our region's philanthropists, business leaders, municipal leaders and community residents in attendance. This event will be at Bears Smokehouse.
Jun 09: Best Video Film & Cultural Center: ($250) The event will be a joint fundraiser for NH Documentary Festival and Best Video Film & Cultural Center. We are planning to hold the in-person event on June 9th or 16th at the Eli Whitney Museum in Hamden.
Jun 10: Mental Harmony Foundation ($300) An event to promote good mental health despite the social determinants faced in our black, brown and urban communities. This event will entail an outside community fair which brings awareness to the mental health illnesses and disparities we face, as well as ways to cope and overcome these issues.
Jun 11: Jewish Family Service of Greater New Haven ($540) Jewish Family Service's annual Spring Celebration will be held in person from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center in Woodbridge.
Jun 11: National Coalition of 100 Black Women ($1500) Our 2023 Black Excellence Awards "Resilience, Post Pandemic" will recognize phenomenal individuals that have excelled in Economic Empowerment, Education, Health, and Public Policy. The in-person brunch will be held at The Waterview in Monroe, CT, from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Jun 16: Anti-Racism In Action, Inc. ($500) This is an in-person annual fundraiser and Juneteenth celebration to help build an anti-racist community.
Jun 17: Women of the Village Community Food Pantry ($350) A free JUNETEENTH COMMUNITY DAY to take place on Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the NEW HAVEN POLICE DEPT. SUBSTATION, 26 Charles Street, New Haven, CT (Rear Parking Lot).
Jun 17: Elena's Light ($500) Celebrating World Refugee Day, the Lighting the Future Fundraiser Dinner will be hosted from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. It aims to raise funds to support Elena's Light programs that serve the local refugee population and encourage local refugee engagement.
Jun 17: Beth-El Center Inc. ($500) The Beth-El Center gala is a joyful and focused opportunity to gather our community, highlight and celebrate accomplishments from the past year, and plan for the collective work ahead, together. This is an in-person event which will take place at 6:00 p.m. at Grassy Hill Country Club in Orange, Connecticut.
Jun 18: Sweets & Sounds Entertainment LLC ($500) Jubilation is an exclusive culinary experience that pays homage to the beauty of black culture, resilience, joy, and art. This intimate event offers guests a three-course dinner, a Black-owned wine tasting facilitated by a sommelier, and live musical performances. It's a one-of-a-kind experience that celebrates the richness of black culture. Jubilation 2023 will take place this year at The Lab at ConnCORP.
Jun 22: Hope After Loss Inc. ($300) The Hope After Loss first annual gala taking place at The New Haven Country Club on Thursday. Come enjoy a night of great company, music and dancing, a silent auction, food, and an open bar. We will be recognizing compassionate care, annual scholarships for caregiver bereavement training, the publishing of Flowers For Hope, and more!
Jun 23: Branford Compassion Club ($970) We will celebrate at “Whiskey & Whiskers,” an evening of country music by Southern Voice, and line dance instruction by Steps & Sounds at Pine Orchard Yacht & Country Club in Branford. Our special honorees will be CT media personality (The River 105.9) Renee DiNino, who also hosts “Lost & Pound” on WFSB, a feature that for years has helped rescue organizations around the state find adopters for homeless cats and dogs, and Stacy Attenberg, local cat rescuer extraordinaire and great partner to BCC.
Jun 29: Ignite the Voice, Inc ($250) Youth Resilience is a collaborative series and event between Ignite The Voice and Creative Hearts. A competition open to youth (3 separate age groups ranging from 5-18) from all over the state of Connecticut. The theme of all showcases is Mental Health and /or experiences over the past 2 years, how living through a global pandemic impacted their mental health. This will be a live event, but it will be streamed and a select few performers will be performing virtually.

Jul 01: Seeing Sounds Festival ($250) Seeing Sounds is a BIPOC centered cultural brand and event hub for local artist. Seeing Sounds Festival is a multi-genre music and arts festival that takes place early summer in New Haven, CT.
Jul 20: Ball & Socket Arts Inc. ($1250) An in-person primary fundraising event, "Evening in White" scheduled at a surprise location. For this edition, we will return to the original event format; a smaller, invite-only event that specifically targets potential and renewing major donors with a paddle-raise.
Jul 20: Connecticut Court Appointed Special Advocates ($750) This "Cooking for CASA" benefit from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the new Dixwell Community "Q" House will feature Chef Claire Criscuolo of Claire's Corner Copia restaurant. Using the Teaching Kitchen at the Q House, Chef Claire will do a demonstration with a tasting menu; this will be in person, a revised version of our 2021 Zoom-based event which the CFGNH sponsored.
Jul 21: Center Stage Theatre: ($325) This event is the 40th anniversary of YouthCONNection. The in-person show will run from July 21- 30, for 10 performances at Center Stage Theatre.
Jul 28: New Haven 48 Hour Film Project/Nutmeg Institute ($300) The 48 Hour Film Project, the world’s largest timed filmmaking competition, is returning for a thirteenth year to New Haven, CT. Teams will race to produce short films from start to finish over the course of one weekend using quick-witted creativity, helter-skelter innovation, and gallons of caffeine. The kick-off event for filming weekend will be where the teams are assigned the specific genre, character, prop, and line of dialogue that must be used in the short film.

Aug 12: Mutual Housing Association of SC CT ($400) Impact is an in-person event thrown by NeighborWorks New Haven, aka Mutual Association of SC CT. The goal is to have a community-building and bonding event where the world of non-profit outreach becomes neighborly; in hopes of impacting individuals' day to day lives while highlighting the resources of their communities through non-profits, art, culture and music.
Aug 12: Puerto Ricans United Inc. ($2500) The 2023 Puerto Rican Festival of New Haven is a regional one-day event that welcomes over 15,000 spectators. The cultural event features live music, food, cultural workshops, health and wellness tables, and other family activities.
Aug 17: Elm Shakespeare Company ($2500) Free Shakespeare in Edgerton Park returns in summer 2023 drawing audiences of over 30,000 for 16 performances. Performances of Shakespeare's "The Merry Wives of Windsor" will begin August 17- at 8:00 p.m. each evening. These performances are free to the community and are full equity professional productions. Elm Shakespeare offers quality professional theater that is accessible and engages the community at large. Elm Shakespeare's educational programming is integrated into the performances through our Elm Scholar Apprentice Program whereby 15 widely diverse college and high school students apprentice with the equity cast and crew becoming full members of the ensemble. These students perform on stage as part of the cast or are full working members of the technical staff such as working alongside professionals to operate sound or lighting during the performances.
Aug 19: Community Dining Room ($500) Second annual (traveling) Community Ice Cream Social to be held at and in collaboration with The Shore Line Trolley Museum in East Haven. This is an in-person event from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Rain date of August 20th.

Sep 09: New Haven Ecology Project ($2,500) Feast from the Fields is a beloved outdoor community event on our urban oasis campus that celebrates the bounty of our fields and gathers over 300 guests, including local farmers, students, families, donors, and community leaders. This year, we will welcome guests to our urban oasis campus for a Feast, which features ecologically grown crops from our sustainable urban farm, lovingly prepared by local chefs.
Sep 09: CT Folk ($500) The 30th Annual CT Folk Festival and Green Expo in New Haven, CT, an event focused on music, community and sustainability. The festival will take place at Edgerton Park on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Sep 09: Haven Arts Park ($1000) Fundraising gala at NXTHVN.
Sep 10: Bethany Land Trust ($1000) A free invitation only celebration of all that the Bethany Land Trust has accomplished in the past 55 years and a thank you to all the people that have helped us along the process by becoming life time members. The event will be held at the Veterans Memorial Lodge in Bethany, CT from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A cocktail type reception serving wine and soft drinks with passed hors d'oeuvres.
Sep 16: We Are One Inc. ($250) We plan to protect our children from child traffickers by hosting our first semi-annual community awareness block party with prevention themes weaved throughout our family-friendly, joyful event. Creative games, craft activities, food, performances, and music will inform community members and give them the tools they need to protect our children from child traffickers.
Sep 18: The Diaper Bank of Connecticut ($1500) This event will be a statewide diaper drive across Connecticut with a goal of collecting 500,000 diapers kicking off (the beginning of Diaper Need Awareness Week) until October 14th, 2023. Our goal is to collect 500,000 diapers and raise $75,000 throughout those four weeks alongside raising awareness and helping families across the state.

Oct 1: APNH: A Place to Nourish your Health ($1,000) Our Annual Anniversary Event will be held in person from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at 168 York Street Cafe in New Haven. In 2023 APNH is celebrating 40 years of service to the New Haven community. APNH will invite donors, funders and community members to brunch with us. The Anniversary Event will feature food, music and announcements of program updates and accomplishments along with future goals and expansions.
Oct 21: Haven's Harvest ($650) We are having a volunteer gathering to support our organization. Our organization heavily relies on volunteer support and would not be able to operate without the volunteers.

Nov 03: Arts Council of Greater New Haven ($2500) The Arts Awards is our signature event that not only benefits the Arts Council but also celebrates the vital contributions and enduring dedication of exceptional individuals and organizations in our creative sector. Recipients are selected based on nominations from the general public and narrowed down to five awardees by an external jury. In addition, the Arts Council awards the C. Newton Schenck III Award for Lifetime Achievement in and Contribution to the Arts to an individual who has spent their career embracing and endorsing the arts. It will be a safe in-person event (following CDC guidelines) at the John Lyman Center for the Performing Arts.
Nov 04: Black Expo ($2,500) The Connecticut Black Expo creates a gathering of the Black community and our allies to empower, enrich, educate, inspire, build, and act through an exhibition of commerce, wellness, political advocacy, and entertainment while focusing on the resiliency of our community.
