The wellbeing of our communities truly relies on a strong nonprofit sector.
In early 2022, The Alliance and Fio Partners conducted a survey to glean the current state of nonprofits in Connecticut. 267 nonprofit organizations provided valuable insights into the common and unique challenges faced by small and large agencies in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and workforce shortage crisis.
During a 60-minute webinar, multiple key findings were explored: the sector’s financial health, service delivery and demand levels, workforce challenges, DEI and racial equity efforts, leadership challenges and bright spots, anticipated future activities and public policy implications.
Thanks to so many Greater New Haven-area nonprofits who participated in the survey. The findings from this year’s survey on the current state of nonprofits in Connecticut, can be viewed in the links below:
The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven is proud to be a funding and promotional partner for this effort, alongside our colleagues at Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, Connecticut Community Foundation, Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut, Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation and the Valley Community Foundation.
