Audubon Connecticut has been using a grant from The Community Foundation to create a network of Urban Oases in New Haven. In two years, the project has created enhanced habitats with native plantings at 15 urban parks and at 14 schools, where elementary school students learned about stewardship. Hundreds of volunteers have been involved in this citywide effort in community conservation. #InspirationMonday.
